This week on Valley Edition we are joined by Fresno journalist and homeless advocate Mike Rhodes about his book "Dispatches From The War Zone." KVPR Reporter Ezra David Romero tells the story of a mammal called a fisher in the Sierra Nevada that humans, fire and poison have nearly obliterated.

Later in the program we are joined by the Bakersfield Californian's Theo Douglas on why there are so many people in the race to become Bakersfield's next mayor. Ending the program we are joined by Brad Polzin to talk about his ArtHop exhibit "Fresno Music History Exhibit" showcasing Fresno band posters.
