The CSUB 60+ Club is hosting a Health and Wellness Resource Fair on May 9, 2024. Kern County Aging and Adult Services will be providing information on the various programs offered by the department. Programs include the Senior Information and Referral Program, Medicare Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program, Senior Nutrition Program, Meals on Wheels, In Home Supportive Services, Adult Protective Services, and Digital Divide. Representatives from Bakersfield Police, the Commission on Aging, Independent Living Center, Art and Spirituality Center at Mercy Hospital, and Ivy Park at Seven Oaks will also be in attendance. This event will take place in CSUB’s Stockdale Room, just off Don Hart Drive East. Reserved parking is marked for the event.
