End-of-life is a difficult and uncertain time for individuals and their families. This workshop offers an opportunity to learn about:• What is palliative care and what does it entail?• When do you chose hospice? • How does hospice help with dementia/Alzheimer’s• What are signs showing it may be time for hospice care?
Guests from the Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission will speak to seniors ages 60 and older on how to use their smartphones, computers and tablets. These one-hour workshops will also provide an opportunity to learn how to identify spam calls, send text messages and make important calls using the cell phone.
The Fresno Arts Council invites the community to the 13th Annual “Arts Alive in Agriculture,” a juried art exhibition. The exhibit is an annual competition that honors the agricultural roots, resources, and traditions of the ethnically diverse communities that produce food in the Central Valley. The event will include an opening night reception with food, drinks, live music, art, and fun.
