This week on Young Artists Spotlight we feature three different ensembles drawn from members of the Youth Orchestras of Fresno. Violinist Erin Scofield opens the program with a performance of Maurice Ravel's Sonata for Violin and Piano, accompanied by HatemNadim, piano. Following that, we hear a performance of Cambini's Wind Quintet No.2 in D minor by the Gigabyte Woodwind Quintet, featuring Andrew Young - horn, Henry Wolf - flute, Noelle Tutunjian- clarinet, Alana Stevenson - oboe, and Issac Ebury - bassoon. The program closes with a performance by the Gigabyte Brass Quartet, featuring Vincent Sciacca - Trumpet; Andrew Young - Horn ; Madeleine Guekguezian - Trombone; Erik Glasrud - Tuba. Thr group performs an exceprt from J.S. Bach's "Praise the Lord, All you Nations" BWV 230, and "La Renaissance" from the Music for the Royal Fireworks by Handel.
