KPRX Off-Air Issues
By Valley Public Radio Staff
Over the last few days Valley Public Radio's KPRX signal (89.1) in Bakersfield has experienced some significant off-air outages. They have been caused by power interruptions at the transmitter site. We are currently working on a project to purchase and install a backup generator system to keep the station on the air during such events. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we deal with this issue and work to improve our service to Kern County.
