Isaac Dumps Major Rainfall Around New Orleans

We are watching the changes that Hurricane Isaac may leave behind. It came ashore as a Category One storm, that's the least powerful kind of hurricane, but with winds of at least 74 miles an hour. In fact, they're clocked more around 80, gusts occasionally over a hundred. It is believed the storm is not strong enough to significantly damage the oil industry along the Gulf Coast. But because it's moving slowly, it's dumping a lot of rain. And the president of Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana is reporting plenty of damage. He told us this morning of water washing over a levee, stranding people in that area south of New Orleans.
