There may be many challenges faced with family members, when caring for a loved one. This presentation will cover common sibling conflicts, tips for encouraging sibling participation, and tools for effective communication during this workshop.
Award winning artist Diego Monterrubio's bright and colorful work draws the viewer into the intriguing stories that encourage the audience to "travel vicariously" through his imagery and fall into the social and emotional motivations that drive the subjects in each piece of art. Come for an opening reception celebrating the art of Diego Monterrubio on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Taft College Art Gallery. Light refreshments will be served. Free admission.
“Arts Alive in Agriculture,” a juried art show, is an annual competition that honors the agricultural roots, resources, and traditions of the Central Valley. The Fresno Arts Council seeks to highlight the Cenral Valley’s agricultural industry by exhibiting original works created by local artists. The event will include an opening night reception with food, beer, and wine, live music, and an art exhibit.
Fresno State Opera students in costume singing scenes from Handel’s opera Julius Caesar, Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro and Magic Flute and Puccini’s La Boheme: All scenes presented in the original language of composition with supertitles for an English speaking audience.
With a one-to-one lineup that reflects the Eagles during their heyday in the late 1970s, the members of Eagles AllStars each emulate their respective “Eagle”, playing the corresponding instrument, and singing the original songs.

Jersey Boys is the fascinating true story of four blue-collar kids who became one of the greatest successes in pop-music history: Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, featuring their chart-topping hits like “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like A Man,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” “Dawn,” and “My Eyes Adored You”.
The Hispanic Business Student Association (H.B.S.A.) at Fresno State presents the 45th Annual Scholarships and Awards Banquet honoring 19 graduating senior members, awarding scholarships to 10 members for the 2024-2025 academic year, and recognizing the contributions of community businesses and non-profit organizations that have generously supported the association.
